One person who actually does the work.
Loppnow Tech Solutions is run by Dan Loppnow — an IT and AI consultant based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, serving Southeastern Wisconsin. Not a sales team, not an offshore-first agency. The person you talk to is the person who fixes the thing.
Why you can trust me with this.
I've been in IT since 2009 — over a decade of that in management, running teams and multi-site projects. Day to day I cover the urgent fixes and the long-term plan: PCs and servers, networking and Wi-Fi, POS, cloud, backups, cybersecurity basics, IT roadmaps, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
When AI broke open in 2024, I leaned in hard. Not the hype version — the practical kind. Automations and tools that save real hours, cut busywork, and make existing systems sharper without bolting on complexity.
The reason I care about doing this honestly: I'm local. My family lives here. The businesses and homes I work with are people my wife and I run into at the grocery store. That changes how you show up — and how accountable you are when something breaks at 9pm.
The philosophy
Most IT shops pick a lane. Either they fix laptops or they sell enterprise solutions. Either they design websites or they configure firewalls. The result: every business and household ends up juggling three or four vendors who don't talk to each other.
LTS is the opposite. One number, one human, one bill — covering the AI implementation, the network it runs on, the website bringing in the work, and the support call when grandma's printer stops printing. Same voice, different depth.
We talk about AI as outcomes — what got faster, cheaper, or fixed — not hype. We talk about networks as uptime and recovery, not part numbers. And we'll absolutely fix the printer.
